This extended endcap can be easily replaced with the standard one. It gives space for extensions in PCCARD/PCMCIA format or antennas.
This extended endcap is included in the "PCCard Radio Kit" (RA3200).

Psion Teklogix Workabout PRO Endcap with 3 ports: serial RS232, serial TTL and Infrared IrDA.

This endcap provides 3 new options: serial RS232 (DB9), serial TTL and Infrared IrDA. - it's also available with RS232 only (BR1001), IrDA only (BR1002), TTL only (BR1003).
Easy installation, just replace standard endcap with it and plug xMod card in - it will be recognized automatically from the unit and is ready to use.
This endcap can be interesting to former Workabout MX (SIBO) users. The ports RS232/TTL match the old WA MX RS232/TTL. Formerly used extensions like printer or scanner fit to it mechanically (no software support is given thus).
The ports can be powered with 5V/250mAh, which allows to supply external hardware.
The standard stylus slot is blocked, therefore there is a new stylus solution attached to this endcap.

Psion Teklogix Workabout PRO Endcap Modem Analog
Psion Teklogix Workabout PRO Endcap with Modem Analog.
This kit consists of an analog 56kb modem compact-flash (Ambicom EZJack 56K, Modell CF56M-EZ) integrated in an extended endcap (WA9004).
The modified endcap has a RJ45 port on top, where line-in will be plugged.
This is no genuine Teklogix product, but a customer-solution. Please understand, we can not give any support or help with this. It may be of interest if you want to transfer data with analog telephon line. Feel free to buy a sample first.
